
Her previous experiences include the elegant St. Paul City Ballet Emperor’s Ball gala, where she worked on the event planning and design team to put on an extravagant and successful fundraising affair. Olson had the privilege of managing a PR campaign recognized by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals’ international MarCom Awards for creative excellence in marketing and communications. Jamie has experience in strategic communications and campaigning for Advancement, working with a global constituency of honored guests and donors. Olson also designed and implemented a creative email marketing campaign for Taylor University Admissions, driving a significant increase in applications from the targeted group.
Olson loves being involved in the community, and has had the privilege of working with a number of Hoosier non-profits, including the Jukes Foundation for Kids, Marion Inner City Outreach, St. Martin Community Center and Helping Hand Ministries, among others. She currently enjoys mentoring and working with high school students in the Indianapolis area.
Jamie graduated summa cum laude with a degree in communications from Taylor University in 2010. Her undergraduate experience was shaped by involvement in the university’s Leadership Development Program, Residence Life, working with events and productions on-campus and managing one of the school’s favorite social hubs – “The Jumping Bean.” Olson was awarded the Leadership Scholars Award, inducted into the Alphi Chi Honors Society and given the Golden Pen award for superior writing achievement. She also earned a minor in Spanish and enjoyed international travel and study across western Europe.
